The AHA’s Hospitals in Pursuit of Excellence (HPOE) is a new platform for hospitals and its leaders to improve the quality of care.

HPOE provides numerous case studies from hospitals all over the country that have improved their care by implementing quality, test-proven practices, that has seen positive outcomes and patient experiences.

The page provides an opportunity for you to add your case study to the collection of best practices. Please submit a quality improvement program that has helped your hospital reach care that meets the 6 Institute of Medicine aims—safe, timely, equitable, efficient, effective and patient centered (S.T.E.E.E.P.).

All hospitals are encouraged to share their own quality improvement experiences. By sharing best practices, all hospitals can improve the level of care that millions of US citizens count on everyday. Submit your case study today.
